Our customer has been Voted as one of the Gold List Hotels in Asia, Australia and Pacific Nations in the 2005 Readers' Choice Gold List of Conde Nast Traveller, it is a five-star business traveller's hotel that provides 1,200 guestrooms with city or harbour view including 32 suites, 2 exclusive Club Lounges and 2 Presidential Suites. The rooms, equipped with broadband Internet access, are designed with plush features to meet the needs of every business traveller.

Business Need

The company wanted to do a detailed forecasting across various market segments and study the trends in these specific segments. Ther also wanted to perform occupancy analysis on the various category of their rooms. This would help them to find out about the trends and preference of its various customer groups and help to strategize better.

Solution Proposed and Implemented

We took care of all their needs by implementing Qlik View applications to help them carry out a detailed analysis of the various market segments they catered to. The analysis enabled them to know their profitable customers and their repeat business from various segments. They could now perform occupancy analysis based on revenue per available room( REVPAR) ,average room rate segment wise (ARR) etc.
